This is a visitor’s visa endorsed to allow short-term work. It covers short-term or urgent work that a standard work visa can’t accommodate, such as service technicians, journalists, and film crews. It must be issued at a South African mission before travel, even for visa-exempt nationals. It is issued for up to 90 days and can be renewed once for another 90 days inside South Africa. The host company supplies a letter explaining the work. It is not meant for repeated use as a substitute for a work visa.
