For professionals in occupations on the Critical Skills List. An occupation on the list earns 100 points on its own, so no other points are needed. Applicants still need a SAQA qualification evaluation, police clearance, and professional body registration where applicable. It is valid for up to 5 years, and permanent residence is available after 5 years on the visa. A job offer is not strictly required, but it makes the application stronger.
